This project was inspired by the resilience, adaptability and work of creators locally and across the world, who found a way to keep going amid a crisis, and those who are finding new ways to reshape their creative work and imagining what might be possible in the future.

Creating with Nature is a deck of 54 cards for anyone wanting to unlock their creativity by connecting with the natural world.

The first peer-reviewed journal article from Reframing Creativity by Valeria Duarte and David Gauntlett was published in the Journal of Creativity in August of 2022.

This report is part of a wider research project, Reframing Creativity, which studied how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the work and creative practice of professional artists, producers and makers. Here we discuss a specific finding about artists’ and creators’ relationships with nature.

We presented a PechaKucha at RUBIX 2022! With a goal of fostering trans-disciplinary collaborations and conversations, The Creative School’s annual event featured compelling demonstrations, conversations on the future of research and PechaKucha presentations.

Creating in Nature was a treasure hunt experience in collaboration with Creato, meant to provide an inclusive space that invited people to step into a creative activity while also enjoying some much needed time outside.

The Creato Summer Picnic 2022, in collaborations with Muse Arts and Reframing Creativity included drawing activities, delicious food, music by two amazing DJ’s and a small interactive activity run by our team!
